Wendy Wulff was appointed to the Metropolitan Council by Governor Tim Pawlenty in April 2009. She represents District 16, which encompasses the southern portion of Dakota County.
Wulff, a resident of Lakeville, is a self-employed web designer with an extensive background in local government and regional issues. She served on the Lakeville City Council from 2003 until 2009 following a six-year stint on the Lakeville Planning Commission, including one year as its chair.
She also has served on the Metropolitan Council’s Land Use Advisory Committee, the region’s Transportation Advisory Board, the League of Minnesota Cities Board, the Metropolitan Legislative Commission Board and the Minnesota Women in City Government Board.
On the Metropolitan Council, Wulff serves on the Community Development and Environment committees.
Wulff holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. She is married with three sons.
