Instructions for completing and submitting the Employment Application form
The Metropolitan Council’s Employment Application form is available in two formats: MS Word and PDF.
MS Word format (to complete electronically) (preferred)
- Open the MS Word application form. Tab to place your cursor in the first form field.
- Move between the fields using the TAB key, or use your cursor.
- Complete all fields in the form. To sign the application, type your name in the signature field.
- Save the completed form to your hard drive and submit your Employment Application along with any other *application materials via one of the methods under How to Submit Your Application (below).
PDF format (to print out the form and complete by hand or typewriter)
- Open the PDF application form.
- Print the form and complete by hand or typewriter.
- Sign and date the completed form and submit your Employment Application along with any other *application materials via one of the methods under How to Submit Your Application (below).
How to Submit Your Application (must be received by the closing date)
- EMAIL: MS Word form completed electronically (preferred)
Attach your Employment Application along with any other *application materials to an email directed to the email address shown on the Notice of Job Opening.
- FAX: Either MS Word or PDF format
Fax your *application materials to the mailing address shown on the Notice of Job Opening.
- U.S. MAIL: Either MS Word or PDF format
Mail your *application materials to the mailing address shown on the Notice of Job Opening.
- DROP OFF: Either MS Word or PDF format.
You may drop off your *application materials to the mailing address shown on the Notice of Job Opening.
*Application materials include the Metropolitan Council Employment Application, resume, supplemental application form, and any other documents required and noted on the Notice of Job Opening.
