You are invited to a panel presentation on August 20 to learn about local public grants that help pay the cost of cleaning up contaminated sites often known as brownfields.

Brownfield properties often are close to a high-quality workforce, good transportation, and transit. We are interested in helping redevelopment that will increase the local tax base, add jobs or affordable housing units and leverage private investment while avoiding costly new public infrastructure.

A tour of new multi-tenant industrial building developed by the Opus Group — one of the last available parcels in the Beacon Bluff Business Center that was once home to 3M headquarters — will follow the session.

Presentation: 8:00 – 9:00 am
Building tour: 9:00 – 9:30 am
