Blue Line Extension Municipal Consent Process

The Metropolitan Council (Council), Hennepin County Board of Commissioners and the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority (HCRRA) held a joint public hearing on the physical design component of the preliminary design plans for the METRO Blue Line Extension as part of the municipal consent process set forth in Minnesota Statutes section 473.3994.

The governments of cities along the proposed Blue Line Extension route (Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale, Crystal, Golden Valley and Minneapolis) will hold separate hearings before taking action on the revised preliminary design plans. The locations and dates of these hearings will be posted on the cities' websites and will be listed below.
