Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) is making improvements to aging and deteriorating regional sanitary sewer facilities that serve homes and businesses in the cities of Roseville and Saint Paul. The project will line or replace approximately 5,000 feet of regional sanitary sewer pipe, as well as rehabilitate manholes and meter stations. Construction will require various small excavation sites and the use of temporary pipes and pumps to transfer wastewater during construction. This project is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and June 2019 and includes four construction sites:
- Avon Street North – Located on Avon Street North, from County Road D West to Brenner Avenue. Construction is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and September 2018.
- Dale Street North – Located near Dale Street North between Highway 36 and Belmont Lane West. The project site will include work on Parkview Junior High School property, near the intersection of County Road B and Dale Street North, and at Villa Park. Construction is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and September 2018.
- Troseth Road – Located on Troseth Road between Old Highway 8 and County Road C2 West, as well as Long Lake Road, north of County Road C2 West. Crews will work at both locations, tunneling under New Brighton Boulevard. Construction is anticipated to occur between summer 2018 and spring 2019.
- Galtier Street North – Located on Galtier Street North and West Idaho Avenue between Larpenteur Avenue West and Marion Street. Construction is anticipated to occur between summer 2018 and spring 2019.
