Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, made repairs to the sewer tunnel in the city of Woodbury under Woodbury Drive between Lake Road and Atlas Trail.
The sewer tunnel was originally constructed in 2002 and is 25-90 feet deep. The work included entering existing access shafts at eight locations along Woodbury Drive. Crews made repairs to the existing tunnel and filled open spaces with grout.
