Project Description

This lift station reconstruction project is part of the overall improvements included in the Hopkins System Improvements Project Facility Plan. The project includes building a regional sanitary sewer lift station in the City of Hopkins. The selected lift station site is north of Oakes Park, between Lake St. and Hiawatha Ave., approximately 600 feet west of Blake Rd. This will replace the MCES lift station currently located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Blake Rd. and Lake St. Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2015, and conclude with restoration activities in spring 2017.
