Super Bowl 52

Getting to events and related service issues

Whether you’re going to the game or related events, or just trying to get around downtown Minneapolis, here are some basic guidelines for Metro Mobility customers:

What is NOT changing

  • Service hours will not change. Metro Mobility service hours by community will not change during Super Bowl. Visit the Metro Mobility website for full service hours.

  • You book rides the same way. The Metro Mobility reservations process and procedures for booking rides will not change during Super bowl. To book a ride contact your service provider.

  • Fares will not change. Metro Mobility fares will remain the same during Super Bowl. Metro Mobility accepts cash or Go-To cards with stored value, but Metropasses, 31-Day Passes, special Super Bowl multi-ride passes or other special event passes will not be accepted.

What IS changing

  • Extended Customer Service Hours. Contact Metro Mobility Customer Service at 651.602.1111 with any questions you have. Call Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Super Bowl weekend, we’ll be open Saturday (Feb. 3) and Sunday (Feb. 4 – gameday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Beginning January 2nd, several routes around the venue in downtown Minneapolis will be closed. There will be an increasing number of Super Bowl related event road closures that will affect Metro Mobility customers, including a broad security perimeter around U.S. Bank Stadium. In addition to congestion related delays, these closures will affect some drop off/pick locations for impacted addresses.

Metro Mobility staff is working to finalize designated outdoor pick-up and drop-off sites for best accessibility to affected addresses and event locations. Check this page for updates in the coming weeks.
  • Riders will notice service-related impacts. Metro Mobility is anticipating an increased demand for services and significant congestion delays in and around downtown Minneapolis due to fans attending various events. Metro Mobility is committed to providing excellent service to our customers throughout the event, and has plans to increase operational and customer service support during this period. We ask that customers plan accordingly and anticipate delays.
