Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, conducted a sewer repair project in Shoreview in summer and fall of 2017.
A temporary wastewater conveyance system consisting of piping and pumps was installed above ground at the locations shown below to maintain services to homes while the existing sewer pipe was being repaired. Generators were used to operate the pumps that ran 24 hours a day during the work. Restoration of any disturbed landscape and pavement will be completed after construction is completed.
