Construction Update - December 5, 2018
Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) is making improvements to aging and deteriorating regional sanitary sewer facilities that serve homes and businesses in the cities of Roseville and St. Paul. The project will line or replace approximately 5,000 feet of regional sanitary sewer pipe, as well as rehabilitate manholes and meter stations. Construction will require various small excavation sites and the use of temporary pipes and pumps to transfer wastewater during construction. This project is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and June 2019 and includes four construction sites:
- Avon St. N. – Located on Avon St. N., from County Rd. D W. to Brenner Ave. Construction is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and September 2018.
- Dale St. N. – Located near Dale St. N., between Highway 36 and Belmont Ln W. The project site will include work on Parkview Junior High School property, near the intersection of County Rd. B and Dale St. N., and at Villa Park. Construction is scheduled to occur between March 2018 and September 2018.
- Troseth Road– Located on Troseth Rd. between Old Highway 8 and County Rd. C2 W., as well as Long Lake Rd., north of County Rd. C2 W. Crews will work at both locations, tunneling under New Brighton Blvd. Construction is anticipated to occur between summer 2018 and spring 2019.
- Galtier St. N. – Located on Galtier St. N. and W. Idaho Ave. between Larpenteur Ave. W. and Marion St. Construction is anticipated to occur between summer 2018 and spring 2019.
