The Programming Committee helps set priorities for using transportation funds and advises the Transportation Advisory Board TAB on transportation funding and programming of transportation projects. These responsibilities include implementing the regional process of soliciting transportation projects for federal funding, monitoring the progress of projects awarded funding through this process, recommending adoption to the TAB of the three-year regional Transportation Improvement Program, and providing comment on transportation funding issues.
The Transportation Advisory Board has suspended the meetings of the TAB Programming Committee and TAB Policy Committee from November 2012 through April 2013 on a trial basis. All action and information items that would normally be taken up by the Programming or Policy Committee will be taken up directly by the full TAB.
