Comment through Dec. 3 on the proposed 2026 budget

The Metropolitan Council is receiving public comment on the proposed 2026 Unified Budget and 2025 Levies, Payable 2026. The 2026 Unified Budget includes the operating budget, capital program, and property tax levies. Learn more at www.metrocouncil.org/budget.

A public meeting on the budget is scheduled on Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. Register to speak at this in-person meeting by calling 651-602-1500 or emailing [email protected]. You may also provide comments on the budget the following ways:

Comments must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 3, to be included in the official record. Comments submitted prior to the public meeting will be made available to the Metropolitan Council for consideration Dec. 3. The public comment process closes following the public meeting. The Met Council will prepare a comment summary, which includes comments submitted prior to the public meeting on Dec. 3 and verbal comments made during the public meeting on Dec. 3.
