The Metropolitan Council is receiving public comment on the Draft 2026 transportation planning work program and related studies.
The Unified Planning Work Program:
- Promotes a unified approach to regional transportation planning to achieve the region’s goals and objectives
- Documents transportation planning spending in the upcoming year, including the approximately $5.9 million in federal transportation planning funds
- Describes the work that will be undertaken to begin implementing the Council’s 2050 Regional Development Guide and the 2050 Transportation Policy Plan
- Serves as the Metropolitan Council’s application for US Department of Transportation planning funds
To achieve a transportation planning process that best reflects the values of the region, we are asking for your feedback on the draft work program and transportation studies.
