Earth Day at 50

Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2020

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”

While several authors have been credited with this wisdom, we know there is only one planet Earth.

Regardless of who said it, and when, it rings true today.

At the Metropolitan Council, we work to protect and preserve the environment in which we live: treating wastewater, reducing carbon emissions, fostering resiliency planning, monitoring water quality and supply, and hosting solar gardens.

Because, at the Met Council, every day is Earth Day.
