Ever think about what happens after you flush the toilet? The Metropolitan Council does.  

The agency treats 250 million gallons of wastewater every day through eight treatment plants that serve 109 communities in the Twin Cities.             

And it does its best to stay out of the public eye -- and nose, too.

In a nondescript office building in St. Paul, behind a door with a sign warning of important testing, the Met Council works to be a good neighbor.
