Protecting our health and water quality

Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2020

365 days a year, 24 hours a day, through the COVID-19 pandemic, Metropolitan Council Environmental Services workers are on the job to protect public health and environment.

These workers are checking wastewater pumps and lift stations, operating our wastewater treatment plants, overseeing construction of replacement sewer pipes, monitoring water quality in our rivers and streams, testing water samples in our laboratory, and more.

To our friends and coworkers at Metropolitan Council Environmental Services working to protect our health and safety by keeping our water clean and accessible, we can’t thank you enough.
