  3. List of next steps or tasks for TAC committee to improve collaboration in the region.

       An update on current legislative activities related to water supply planning will be provided.  Water Efficiency Grants outcome.

  1. Water Conservation and Efficiency Presentations (30 min) – Rick Wahlen, City of Eden Prairie and Mark Maloney, City of Shoreview

       Presentations will provide information on each city’s approach to conservation and efficiency.

       4.    Water Conservation and Efficiency Discussion (50 min) – Member Discussion

Members to discuss how better conservation and efficiency would improve regional water supply planning.  Members will also consider the following questions:
  1. Is your community interested in water conservation/efficiency? Why or why not?
  2. What aspects of water conservation or efficiency do you think are most important to focus on (regulatory, incentives, community engagement, collaboration, etc.)?
  3. If you have participated in a water conservation or efficiency program, what worked and what didn’t (lessons learned)?
  4. How do you measure the success of a water conservation or efficiency program? This could be water saved, community engagement, or other factors.
