The Metropolitan Council will conduct a public hearing to receive public comment on its application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for a grant from the Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing program.
The program supports communities that are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing, particularly communities where housing production is not meeting the increased demand for accessible and available housing units.
The draft application materials will be available at https://metrocouncil.org/Housing/Planning.aspx on Sept. 22. Interested people may register to speak in advance by contacting Metropolitan Council Sarah Berke via email at [email protected]. Upon request, the Met Council will provide a reasonable accommodation to people with disabilities.
