Project Description

Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (ES), owner and operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, plans to rehabilitate existing sewer interceptors in Fridley near East River Road.

Fridley Interceptor Rehabilitation Project map. The existing interceptor line runs north-south perpendicular to Highway 694 and between Main St NE and East River Road South. Project Site 1 is a segment of the existing interceptor line that spans from 694 to Mississippi Street. Project Site 2 is a smaller segment near the intersection of East River Road and 51st Way NE.

Project Schedule

Design: Summer 2025 to Spring 2026
Construction: Estimated to be in 2027
 

Public Involvement

A public open house will be held prior to construction. Check back for more details as they become available.
