Project Description
This project rehabilitates and renews Metro Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) aging infrastructure and improves scum handling systems. The proposed project scope items are summarized below.
- Replaces influent sluice gates
- Repairs concrete in the east primaries, south influent channel, and gravity thickeners
- Reclaims pavement to renew roads
- Replaces eight programmable logic controllers
- Rehabilitates wall tile at the compressor building
- Improves scum systems
- Constructs an addition to the east pre-treatment building to accommodate scum dumpsters
- Replaces scum pumps and installs new piping and valves
- Rehabilitates roof/heating ventilation air conditioning
- Compressor building
- East primary building

Notice to proceed was issued on July 11, 2025.
Substantial completion of the project is tentatively scheduled for July 2029, with final completion following in January 2030.
