<div class='lb-heading'>Downtown Belle Plaine</div><div class='lb-text'>Downtown Belle Plaine is home to many local businesses that contribute to the unique culture of the City. </div> <div class='lb-heading'>Belle Plaine Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors</div><div class='lb-text'>The Board of Directors for Belle Plaine’s Chamber of Commerce is made up of several Downtown business owners and residents. This group helps advance the City’s economic competitiveness goals by providing technical assistance to local businesses.  
</div> <div class='lb-heading'>KingsPath Senior Living Facility</div><div class='lb-text'>The Lutheran Homes Association led the development of the Ridgeview Health Campus. This mixed-use development includes the Ridgeview Belle Plaine Clinic, KingsPath Senior Living, First Choice Pharmacy, Shape It Up Fitness-Belle Plaine, Ridgeview Rehab Specialties, a wellness area, community room, outdoor walking paths and more. It demonstrates a successful step toward greater economic competitiveness, while addressing local goals and service needs associated with the City’s senior population.</div> <div class='lb-heading'>Grand Opening of Ridgeview Belle Plaine Clinic (2017) </div><div class='lb-text'>The Ridgeview Health Campus has 13,000 sq. ft. of medical clinic, 10,000 sq. ft. of wellness space, and 55 senior apartment units.</div> <div class='lb-heading'>Local Mural in Downtown Plaza </div><div class='lb-text'>The City of Belle Plaine commissioned local muralist, Lana Beck, to paint a mural at its Downtown Plaza. The mural, titled “Kindness Rewards”, demonstrates the City’s commitment to leveraging its creative, entrepreneurial culture to foster economic prosperity and community wellbeing. </div> <div class='lb-heading'>Local Mural in Downtown Plaza (2)</div><div class='lb-text'>The City of Belle Plaine commissioned local muralist, Lana Beck, to paint a mural at its Downtown Plaza. The mural demonstrates the City’s commitment to leveraging its creative, entrepreneurial culture to foster economic prosperity and community wellbeing. The mural, titled “Kindness Rewards”, was completed in Summer 2018. </div> <div class='lb-heading'>BBQ Days Parade </div><div class='lb-text'>The City of Belle Plaine hosts an annual BBQ Days Parade in its Downtown Plaza. </div> <div class='lb-heading'>Minnesota River</div><div class='lb-text'>In the future, the City plans to leverage its natural amenities by reconnecting the community with the adjacent Minnesota River and improving the surrounding bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.
