A geographic information system (GIS) combines digital map layers and sophisticated software to allow analysis and mapping of geographic features. These web sites allow you to view maps created with the Council’s GIS tools and data and even let you create maps yourself.
The Development Trends Along Transit (DTAT) application was created by Metro Transit’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Office to showcase the DTAT data in relation to existing and planned high frequency transit facilities across the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area of Minnesota. The purpose of this app is to provide transparent public access to the same data processed for the annual DTAT Report.
