Project Description

Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, is improving facilities at the Metro Plant with the addition of a new Services Building using the design-build delivery method.

It will include a remodeled Analytical Laboratory, new office space, additional laboratory space, a field services facility, and access to the Metro Plant tunnel system.

The project will also add a second staffed entrance to the Metro Plant with a new guard station and parking lot. Construction on this project is anticipated to begin in late 2022 and will take approximately two years to complete.
