  • Mississippi River has receded below flood stage. Metro Plant operations successfully continued during flood and high-water plans. Everything proceeding as expected.
  • ES employees: Watch for traffic changes while the temporary road to access Metro Plant is being removed. Check email for updates. 
  • Shepard/Warner Road: closed - expect delays
    The City of St Paul has closed Warner Road from Eagle Pkwy to Hwy 61. The only access to Warner Road is from Southbound 10/61 right turn lane to Warner Road. Traffic coming from the south will need to proceed to Burns Avenue and make a U-turn at the light. 
  • Childs Road: open
    Childs Road is closed. Temporary, elevated road now in use to access the Metro Plant. Businesses on Childs Road have constructed their own berms across Childs Road just north of the plant entrance. 
  • Metro Liquid Waste Receiving facility – closed, to reopen May 11
    The Metro Liquid Waste Receiving facility will open Thursday, May 11 at 6:00 AM. See the list of Alternative Liquid Waste Receiving Sites.
  • Vactor disposal sites – open
    Use the Metro Plant east entrance via Pigs Eye Lake Road and follow the detour routes to the Wet and Dry Vactor sites inside the plant. Main plant entrance will remain closed for pavement repair until Thursday, May 11.
