Flood Information 2024

The Environmental Services Flood Response Team is engaged in flood activities. The team is monitoring river levels and coordinating with other agencies for public safety. Metro Plant operations continuing per flood and high-water plans. Everything proceeding as expected. 

• Mississippi River: River level receding, but remains a current safety concern.

Traffic changes:

• ES employees: Watch for traffic changes while the temporary road to access Metro Plant is being removed. Check email for updates. 

• Warner Road: closed
  The City of Saint Paul closed Warner Road near Sibley  Sunday, June 23. The only access to Warner Road is from Southbound 10/61 right turn lane to Warner Road. Traffic coming from the South must proceed to Burns Avenue and make a U-Turn at the light.  

• Childs Road: open
  Access is limited to/from Highway 61

• ​Pigs Eye Lake Road: closed
• ​Metro Liquid Waste Receiving facility: closed
• Vactor disposal sites: closed
