Based on a user survey conducted about a year ago, we’ve made major changes to the look and organization of the Metro Mobility website.
Among the changes, you’ll find:
- More and better-organized content
- Simplified navigation tools
- Mobile compatibility
Usability and accessibility testing with actual Metro Mobility customers helped us ensure the best possible experience for all our customers.
Online Reservation System
We know that the online booking system is important to customers. It’s not yet available, but once it launches, the updated online booking system will also be easier for people to use on mobile devices.
The website is organized into six major areas which correspond to the navigation tabs that you’ll see at the top of every page:
Metro Mobility Home
Provides an overview of the service, with links to key information and the feedback report form, and customer service contact information
Eligibility and Certifications
Information about Metro Mobility eligibility guidelines, and the application and certification forms
Information includes requesting and cancelling trips, standing orders, standby trips, how to access a language line for customers with limited English proficiency, and a handy form that indicates if your trip is in the federal or state service area
Trip Providers, Areas and Hours
Metro Mobility’s three service zones and trip providers, and service hours by community
Paying for Trips
Peak and non-peak fares, how to pay for trips, and frequently asked questions about using Go-To cards
Riding Metro Mobility
Information about how to ride Metro Mobility and avoid service interruptions can be found here. There’s also information about supplemental services (Premium On-Demand Service, Assured Ride Home Program) and alternatives to Metro Mobility.
