The Met Council worked with technical experts in state, regional, and local government and nonprofits as we developed the draft policies in Imagine 2050. We also engaged with community groups at an unprecedented level. Staff held workshops with 26 organizations representing:
The workshops engaged a total of 480 participants.
During our public comment period, we received more than 1,200 comments from more than 500 people and organizations. We are compiling a comprehensive public comment report for our policymakers, who will consider changes to the draft policies before final adoption in February 2025.
