Virtual Flyover Tour

The Southwest LRT project prepared a narrated flyover visualization of the METRO Green Line Extension route. The flyover begins at SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie, the western end of the METRO Green Line Extension, and follows the light rail route through Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Minneapolis. Along the way, the narration describes the station locations, points of interest, and design features of the line including bridges, tunnels, and street intersections.

Closed captioning and a transcript of the narration is also available. The visualization video is also available on the Metropolitan Council's YouTube channel.
