The 2050 plan expands its focus to consider how housing meets the needs of residents – including affordability, stability, services, and connection to cultural and neighborhood amenities.
 

The Metropolitan Council is planning to build a new water resource recovery facility to treat wastewater in the northwest metro area to replace the existing Rogers Plant.

The Metropolitan Council adopted a public comment draft of its 2025 budget in October and will accept public comments on the budget through Dec. 11.
