What is the Equity Support Unit?
The Equity Support Unit (ESU) is part of the Office of Equal Opportunity at the Metropolitan Council. The ESU provides many services including investigating complaints of illegal discrimination and assisting with policy development.
The ESU investigates a variety of illegal discrimination complaints, including complaints made by people who use our public services, people who apply for jobs, and people who work for the Metropolitan Council.
How do I file a discrimination complaint?
There are many options to file a discrimination complaint. There are many federal and local laws which protect against discrimination.
If you are a person who uses one of our public services such as MetroTransit, MetroMobility, Wastewater Treatment or one of the Metro HRA programs and you believe have been discriminated against find out how to file a discrimination complaint for public services.
