The area around the planned Wooddale Avenue Station offers a wide variety of residential options, including condominiums, apartments and single-family homes. Nearly 200,000 square feet of retail space are also located in the area. The St. Louis Park High School, Park Spanish Immersion Elementary School and the Central Community Center are all nearby.

The planned Wooddale Avenue Station will be located on Wooddale Avenue near Hwy. 7. A pedestrian underpass for trail users to cross Wooddale Avenue will be constructed along with the station.
