Important dates for LCDA, LHIA, TOD and TBRA grant applicants

Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA)

  • May 4 - Project Concept Plans due
  • June 29 - Full applications due
  • August-September - Council staff conducts reviews
  • October-November - Livable Communities Advisory Commitee conducts Step Two evaluations 
  • December - Met Council awards LCDA Development grants

Local Housing Incentives Account (LHIA)

  • June 1 - Intent to Apply Due to Minnesota Housing for Multi-family projects
  • June 15 - Single family applications due
  • June 15 - Multi-family applications due
  • July–August - MHIG Agencies’ staff review applications
  • September - MHIG application evaluation and selection meeting
  • October - MHFA Board acts on recommendations from the MHIG
  • November/December - Met Council awards LHIA grants

Tax Base Revitalization Account (TBRA)

  • May 1 -  Spring round applications due for TBRA Cleanup, Site Investigation and SEED programs
  • July - Met Council awards spring round TBRA grants
  • November 1 - Fall round applications due for TBRA Cleanup, Site Investigation and SEED programs
  • January - Met Council awards fall round TBRA grants

Transit-Oriented Development (TOD)

  • May 4 - Project Concept Plans (PCP) due for LCDA-TOD Development and TBRA-TOD Cleanup
  • June 1 - Spring round of LCDA-TOD Pre-Development applications due
  • June 29 - Full applications due for LCDA-TOD Development and TBRA-TOD Cleanup
  • July-August - Council staff conducts reviews
  • July - Met Council awards LCDA-TOD Pre-Development spring grants
  • September-October - Livable Communities Advisory Commitee conducts Step Two evaluations of LCDA-TOD Development and TBRA-TOD Cleanup applications
  • November 1 - Fall round LCDA-TOD Pre-Development applications due
  • November - Met Council awards LCDA-TOD Development and TBRA-TOD Cleanup grants
