Coordination with public safety partners a priority as Green Line Extension looks ahead to opening in 2027

Earlier this month at the Green Line Extension Project’s June 4 Corridor Management Committee meeting, Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD)  Chief Joseph Dotseth provided an update on Metro Transit’s efforts in implementing the agency’s Safety and Security Action Plan.

Chief Dotseth highlighted recent work by MTPD, the Transit Rider Investment Program (TRIP) and others to foster a safe experience on transit. Chief Dotseth also spoke to the continued planning being undertaken to prepare for the opening of the Green Line Extension in 2027.
