The Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) is a dynamic group of individuals committed to promoting equity across the region. The Committee advises the Metropolitan Council on projects, policies, programs and procedures and brings unique perspectives to help ensure that a broad variety of voices are represented when decisions are made.

Who we’re looking for
We seek applicants from all backgrounds and experiences- including but not limited to differences in geography, race, gender, age, ability, sexual orientation, and life experience. Committee members help shape regional policy and contribute to the Council’s work on equity.

8 total seats available, including
Four at-large positions and 4 District positions. The Committee consists of geographic district representatives (4-year terms) and at-large members (4-year terms) with staggered expiration dates.

on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at:

- Submit an application form. Include your background, interest in equity work, and how you will contribute.
- Selected candidates will be reviewed by the Council and recommended for appointment.
