Biography

Wendy Wulff brings a long-time passion for public service and local government to the Met Council. She is proud of her work solving problems and building cooperative relationships with fellow Council members, communities in her district, and local government partners. She is an advocate for promoting efficiency and value in regional services to promote a prosperous region with abundant economic opportunities. 

Wulff has served as a Council member since 2009, with extensive past public service experience in the U.S. Army Reserve, the Lakeville City Council and Lakeville Planning Commission, and on the board of the League of Minnesota Cities. She has also served in positions with the Municipal Legislative Commission and the Minnesota Women in City Government Board.

Appointed

Wendy Wulff has served on the Metropolitan Council since 2009, when Gov. Tim Pawlenty first appointed her. Gov. Mark Dayton reappointed Wulff in 2011, 2013, and 2015, and Gov. Tim Walz reappointed her in 2019 and 2023.
